Abstracted representation of group interaction taking place between different individuals. The thin line around each circle represents whatever you notice first (observable or readily detectable characteristics). The inside of each circle reflects all deep-level characteristics someone has (e.g., skills, knowledge, experience, education, attitudes, empathy, assertiveness, etc.). Each arrow represents the type of communication taking place between each individual. I suppose if you asked someone to draw the most stereotypical thing about Japan they would draw this (volcano shaped) Mt. Fuji, those pagoda buildings and a lady in a kimono. So it's a bit surprising that I found this in an old Japanese book. None the less, it's interesting 富士 日本 寶塔 陳規定型的日本
I suppose this is a bit of a stereotypical symbolic representation of India. The figure sitting in a lotus is supposed to be Gandhi and the building is suppose to be the Taj Mahal. Only could get more stereotypical if the artist had included some curry soups or something. Still, Gandhi and the Taj Mahal are worth being proud about I suppose, not really a negative stereotype... (This image is based off elements from a US Government propaganda poster, and thus it is public domain.) 印度 文化 符號 Symbols of India
